bearded dragons, cute lizards with good demeanor, and what kid wouldn't love to show everyone their pet "dragon" that they have at home? :)
Iguanas are ok if handled well, but if they get scared or aren't handled enough they will slap the crap out of you with their tales and bite
snakes-small and non poisonous of course
It depends on the type of reptile and the person caring for it. For the inexperienced reptile enthusiast I would suggest a leopard gecko. Leos are low maintenence, friendly, easy to handle, they poop in one spot ALL THE TIME and they don't require uv lights being nocturnal. As with any reptile I would suggest a calcium supplement to dust crickets with at least every other feeding so your new pet doesn't develop the dreaded MBD (metabolic bone disease). As with any pet beofre purchasing please consider the animals well being if you feel you cannot provide the heat source(the tank needs a temperature gradient), housing and varied food supply (they eat crickets, meal worms wax worms, sometimes pinky mice but rarely they are really high in fat) please do not put the animal at risk.
---- No.
* They are nidifugous and not social, they hate being touched; * need lot of cares (UV lights, food with calcium and vitamines, temperature and humidity control); * can transmit salmonellosis with their feces; * do not regognize friends and can bite and scratch. ---- It is not true that they are not friendly an unsocial, like any other pet they do recognize people and their owner, certain lizards need uv not all of them, many animals can transmit salmonilla with feces, clean tanks make happy homes(think of all the diseases we could transmit if we lived in poop!) probably not, a lizard requires a lot of care and responsibility, unless you are planning on supervising care, it is not a good idea, a better choice would be a small animal like gerbil or hamster
a good pet for kids is any pet. my opinion is a dog. -st.bernard- but that is just my opionion. i think a big dog would be good because if you train them right and dont teach them bad they will be a big angel. my st.bernard loves kids and thinks he is a lap dog. DOGS

Snakes, lizards, even alligators are most common.
The best snake for children would be the 'corn snake'. They don't get too big, and they are pretty mild in nature, so they shouldn't lash out at children. They are perfect for children.
It depends what age if under 5 no pet maybe a fish 6 over if ready a hamster 7 or 8 a gerbil or Guinea pig. But the best pet to have is dog by far.

a chicken is good with any family whether they have a baby, a dog or kids.
Usually a goldfish is a good starting pet for a kid to learn responsibly. When you see they are responsible enough, a hamster or bird is a good "next step" pet. Once you see he or she is responsible with that pet, larger animals such as dogs and cats are recommended.
they are a good family pet energetic so yes it would be good with a kid but slowly get them adjusted to each other
No. You cant have real kids on pet party. You can ask a friend to act as your kid, but otherwise you cant have kids.
