What is the most computer related type of carpal tunnel syndrome?

Computer use has not really been shown to be a cause of carpal tunnel syndrome. However, it may be an aggravating factor in someone who already has a case of carpal tunnel syndrome or repetitive strain injury. There have been several studies that have shown no real coorealtion between the two, probably the best known one was from Harvard medical school.

Can wearing magnets help carpal tunnel?

I assume you mean carpal tunnel syndrome? The carpal tunnel is simply the area affected by the problem. There can be many causes of this, none of which are affected by the use of magnets. There has been no evidence to show that magnets help carpal tunnel at all. There has been double blind studies where the doctor nor the patient knows if they have the "real treatment" or the "fake treatment", and at the end they look at both groups..if the fake or placebo group does just as good or better than the tested or real treatment, you know it doesn't work. This type of study has been done with magnets to no avail.

Can you get carpal tunnel from playing video games?

It is possible to get carpal tunnel syndrome from playing video games, but there is a small risk of getting carpal tunnel from anything that you partake in for an extended amount of time. Video game console controllers are usually built to form to the relaxed position of the hand, while putting your hand in a position which is found comfortable. Many studies have been done just to form the controllers used today. Since the movements of the hand during gameplay are repetitive, it does slightly increase the odds of you getting carpal tunnel, but not enough to worry about.

What is average lump sum payment from carpal tunnel syndrome?

That is hard to say because different states have different work comp laws and rules as to what is allowable and what's not. A lot of CTS is caused by non-workrelated factors as well, but if your case has been approved by workers comp then it Also will depend if the person has had to have surgery or not and whether there is/was in impairment or disability. If you understand all that then some with carpal tunnel syndrome are no entitiled to any settlement or lump sum...Others may be able to collect 15-30k..less lawyer fees of 20-30% of course. in west Tennessee what is the average settlement for carpal tunnel

How much Vitamin B complex should a 65 year old woman take for carpal tunnel syndrome and will it help?

You could take one multi-vitamin a day or one B6 type of vitamin a day and that would be more than enough to see if it will help. Most American diets contain enough vitamin B6 though. And the only way it would ever help Carpal tunnel syndrome is if you were deficient, which is probably unlikely. Homeopathic believers of this form of treatment have not been able to produce unbiased data or studies to show that it works for carpal tunnel syndrome. There has been one limited study years ago that I know of, where the test subjects were deficient in vitamin B but this was done in another country outside of U.S., they were also showing other signs as well, such as other nerve problems and cracked lips etc.. Just be careful and don't take mega doses because it could tax your liver, and give you abdominal and intestinal problems. ************************************************************** Carpal tunnel syndrome is the result of inflammation of the nerve going through the carpal tunnel in the wrist. Moringa Oleifera, naturally containing 36 anti-inflammatories, can provide pain relief. Search on Moringa.
