man , animals and birds eat the pulp or the edible part of fleshy fruits and throw their seeds. this helps in their dispersal. The small and undigested seeds come out of their body. the seeds of guava and berries are dispersed this way.

Mostly birds, but also many different types of animals on land will eat plants with seeds, and these ingested seeds will help get fertilized for further growth through their waste or droppings.

When there are brightly colored fruits which smell good and sweet, animals will get attracted to them and eat the fruits. Then they will defecate(poop out) the seed from the fruits which their bodies can't digest. Then the seeds will grow into a plant!!

A good example of this is the Camel-thorn tree that is native to Namibia and Botswana. Only certain animals have the digestive system to activate the germination process of this seed.

Another way is when a seed has thorns it will stick to the animals fur and fall off later. The seed falls off in anther location where the seed can grow into a plant.

There are many other ways of dispersing seeds like by water(coconut), wind(dandelion) and explosive mechanism(balsam). But i am not gonna bore whoever even reads this with a long out-of-topic explanation. :)

When a butterfly drinks the necter of a flower, and moves onto the next flower, the pollen from the first flower will go to the next one, and that would be like sexual intercourse, thus producing seeds, or a squirrel will take acorns and buring them around areas since acorns are the oak trees seeds. Also animals will eat berries that contain the seeds in them, and later when they take a dump, the seeds will be planted in a different area

Sheeps are one, they catch seeds, I forgot what they are called but-...now I remember, dandelions, as their (sheeps) fur scrape against the dandelions their seeds get hold onto it, until sometime it falls of and that's how it gets dispersed. That's all I know sheeps are a disperser as well as dogs although they do the same thing as sheeps (using their fur, as the seeds fall of by their selfs).

As well as eating them, some animals collect the fruits or seeds and bury them to eat later, but forget about them and the seeds germinate in their new location.

Why seeds of plant dispersed by animal is further than plant dispersed by explosive mechanism?

When seeds are dispersed by an animal they are usually either consumed by the animal then expelled in the animal's waste or caught in the animal's fur and later released as the animal shed. In both scenarios the animal acts as a transport for the seeds and can carry seeds much further than the small launch in a plant's explosive mechanism
