Depends on the school and level of experience.

If you have no experience and go to a podunk school expecting more than 50-60k base (plus a moderate bonus) would be unrealistic.

If you have worked for a few years and go to a leading school (i.e. MIT, Princeton, LBS) you can land an Associate gig at an I-Bank (probably in S&T or maybe IBD [although this area is more likely for an MBA]), which means around USD 100k base, plus a signing bonus of 20-40k, plus a bonus at year end that could be more than your base salary. Better yet, fortunate top grads could wind up at a PE firm or Hedge Fund (the top of the financial pyramid) and pull in more like 150k base plus an almost unlimited performance based bonus.

Summary - Bottom of the barrel will make a under 100k "all in" in the first year out. Top grads from top schools will make well over 250k in the first year (again this is including year end bonus).

Salary, earning potential, and marketability are not only determined by the type of field you are in and the degree you possess. It depends on your position within that field, the institution you work for, your experience, expertise, personal abilities, critical thinking skills, problem solving abilities, dedication and commitment toward ones work, and more. Thus, salary is not so much dependent on the type of degree as much as it is dependent on the person who holds the degree. Still, if you have a specific occupational title, you can then retrieve the estimated mean annual wage particular to that occupation through the U.S. Department of Labor: Bureau of Labor Statistics.
