She was pregnant of her second child during the end of season 8 and began to show in the 2 last episodes. Because of Holly being pregnant, Piper didn't transform into another being as much as Phoebe or Paige because Holly wouldn't allow to put anything on her skin (like glues to hold the costumes together) to protect herself and her child.
