there is no 'special pair' of earphones for any given iPod.
if by 'buds' you mean the earphones provided with the purchase of your iPod, then any pair with a 3mm jack will do. These are also the most common, so you can pick these up anywhere and, unless you go looking for a bigger or smaller jack, then chances are a 3mm is the one you will find!
if, however, you're talking about the little pads that come with the earphones, then you can buy those at the Apple store or online for sure, and I'm almost sure Walmart and Target would carry them, too. Not to mention other stores that may be in your area.
