What should you do if you're a 16-year-old female and you're with a female and you both want a baby but you want to raise it as yours without the actual father in the picture? |

Answer
You are both very young right now and if possible try to wait until you are at least 18 and then your chances will be better. When we consider having a child and one of the two of you are carrying that child, it's just not a cuddly little toy, but a live human being that has huge responsibilities attached to it. We are the mentors of a child and your responsibily to teach this child love, strength, and becoming a strong individual in a very tough world. Also, there are late night feedings, changing dirty diapers, being up many nights with a feverish child, not having the freedom to do what you are use to doing, seeking out good Day Care facilities to put your chid into not to mention expensive medical/dental. When the time is right, you can adopt children from other parts of the world, or, if you have the money, you can seek out a lawyer and adopt a child in this manner.
No one can stop you from following through with your plans, and you can go to a clinic where sperm is donated. One of you will be impregnated, but I am sure, there are responsibilities and requirements with the contract to do this procedure.
