What should you do if you get the wind knocked out of you?

Answer:

Put your hands above your head and just breath

If you can, sit down but keep your back straight (this lets your lungs expand more). Also, if it's bad enough to a point you can't stand, lie down but DO NOT lie on your back. Your lungs have to work twice as hard then and it will just make the situation harder to get over.
