Before you make the final decision take a piece of paper and put your girlfriend's name down and then your ex's name down. Put all the good or not so good qualities about each under their name. Put the paper away for a couple of days and then bring it out and read it. Decide how you want to be treated as a human being. It should be much clearer to you (if you are listening to your gut feeling) which girl you should be with. If you decide to go back to your ex then honesty is the best policy. There is no way you can break this decision to your girlfriend without hurting her, but you'll hurt her more if you aren't honest.
