What should you do if you have been with your girl for over 3 years but are really starting to like a friend?

Answer

You should probably break things off with your girlfriend (at least temporarily) until you know what you want. Just explain to her that you need a break to think some things through. You don't need to go into detail, although you should offer a compassionate and caring explanation for your action. This route would be a lot less painful for her than if you were to stay with her, figure out you do want to be with your friend instead, and then break it off with her for another woman. I certainly wouldn't jump into another relationship with your friend. Really take time to think it through and determine the pros and cons of both relationships. Good luck.
