A snapping turtle has been known to reach ages of well over 150 years old.
ya they can but not a salamander with a snapper turtle the snapper will eat it
It depends on the turtle, and how much time you spend with it. If you work with your turtle a lot, and it feels safe with you, you can work your way into hand feeding.
Yes, a Snaping Turtle can bite.In fact, i got bit by one when i wus very young.
the biggest common snapper ever seen was over 80 lbs
What you should do, is just be paitent and wait. eventualy, the thing your feeding your snapper will die,(if not already dead), or the snapper will eat it. while i writing this, I'm looking ant my snapper and a tadpole i just cought for him , and i am dying to see how he'll eat it or how he'll kill it. All he's doing is sitting on top of it. BORING!!!!!
