What should you do when your Christmas tree starts to dry out?

[Edit]

Answer

If you can, remove the tree from the stand and cut 1" off the trunk, exposing new wood to the water source. Then, return the tree to the water source and let it rehydrate.

You were watering it, right?

Also, if it is a plastic tree, it will always be dry. Use some furnature polish sprayed onto a cotton rag to wipe down the tree and remove dust. This will give it a fresh 'lively' look.
