Seek medical advice at the earliest opportunity. Said problems can develope into long term health problems in future. A person I knew at one time in my life had abscesses all over his groin from injecting -- Unfortunately this man had to have his leg amputated because of his systemic drug abuse, and it was mainly down to repeatedly injecting in a certain spot -- In his case the groin.

Again, seek medical advice at the earliest opportunity. I could not say how severe your "swollen" veins are, but this is generally a warning sign that acute medical problems are to follow. See your Dr, they will give you the best advice.

You are probably going to be OK, this time. But, you won't be OK if you continue to keep shooting meth; that should be a bigger concern of yours. Anyways, what you probably did was an intramuscular injection instead of an intravenous one. The swelling was just the local tissues responding to the methamphetamine and whatever other toxic chemicals were injected into your body along with it. Your body will eventually recover unless there is some other kind of complication, like an infection. But, please consider the more serious potential consequences of your addiction, and that is that you will eventually die if you continue, and that is more serious than some minor and temporary swelling. Please get help and make sure that doesn't happen to you.
