Three of the 5 functional Space Shuttle orbiters built survived until retirement, a total of 135 manned missions. They are Discovery, Atlantis, and Endeavour. The shuttle Enterprise was not used in orbital flight.
There were 4 original shuttles built after the testing of Enterprise in 1977:
Columbia, Challenger, Discovery, and Atlantis.
Challenger was destroyed in a launch accident on January 28, 1986. A fifth orbiter, Endeavour, was built from spare parts.
Columbia was destroyed during reentry on February 1, 2003.
3 G to allow crew to function in flight.
Space Shuttle Challenger exploded just a few seconds into a flight in 1986. Space Shuttle Columbia exploded during its reentry in 2003.
Space shuttles are placed in a hangar at Kennedy Space Center when not on a mission or on pre- or post flight processing. The very tall Vehicle Assembly Building is where they are prepared for flight and where the External Fuel Tank and Solid Rocket Boosters are joined to the orbiter. Post flight checks and repairs are also carried out here.
The space shuttle has never landed in the ocean. The Apollo capsule used to land in the ocean. The last Apollo flight was in 1972. The first space shuttle flight was in 1981.
Discovery, Atlantis, and Endeavour are still operational. The Enterprise, designed for only earth flight, is in a museum.

Space Shuttles do not land in Houston
Flight. Particularly space shuttles. For average people, jet or military planes.
Enterprise (non space worthy flight test version), Columbia, Challenger, Atlantis, Discovery and Endeavour
Space shuttles use energy, not make it
Space shuttles are plane like vehicles that travel in space, i hope that answered your question
It is not expected that the Space Shuttles will fly again.
