It should be a 7 mm Allen.

It should be a 3/8" Allen wrench.

the caliper bolts require a 3/8" Allen wrench. You can buy these as a socket at just about any parts store.

(Need 15 mm wrench to hold lock nut) Remove caliper Remove old pads Tighten (right turn) caliper plunger using special spanner wrench until it bottoms out insert new pads replace caliper and 13 mm bolts replace tire pump brakes before driving
I don't know what size but on an 01 S60 you need an Allen wrench.

It takes a T55 Torx bit on the front calipers.
I just did my 2005 Ford Escape front brakes and the caliper was 7mm Allen and main holder is 18mm ...RRR Wis.
I'm pretty sure that takes a 7mm Allen key.
For Disc Brakes...simply use a 7mm Allen wrench to remove the 2 bolts from the inside of the caliper and use a large C-clamp to put pressure on the hydrolic piston. The two pads slide right off for replacement. Reverse directions to install new ones.
You need a 3/8" allan key or hex socket - not a torx
