A snake can eat insects for example a ladybug or a grasshopper they also eat mice,birds..... Basically if a snake can KILL it then a snake will eat it. But the only thing a snake will NOT eat is any type of herb like grass,leafs,berrys,flowers..... So that's what a snake can eat and NOT eat.

Its not uncommon for a snake to be hurt by the animal he is trying to attack i.e. if a rat is being attacked by the snake, and the rat gets a good bite in - the snake could die, and suddenly the hunted could become the hunter and has a large meal to boot (while he is congratulating himself on surviving!)
ants also eat snakes. some people think this is a lie, but it is true. I once ate a snake. by the way it is horrible- so are ants, they taste very, very, very bad.
but for some snakes theres are fact that only some snakes are dangerous
