when you destroy a habitat, it is also your responsibility to give the animals another place to live, such as a garden. i used to go to a school in Arizona. they needed a second building, so they took some land next door, bulldozed it, and built a huge 2 story building. next to it a ways away next to the parking lot, they put in a pond along with some real boulders, trees and bushes. anything that was there before or that would benefit the animals was put in. walking out of school every day, you would see some type of animal nearby. it was pretty neat and taught us all about animals around us in the mean time. hope that helped :)

Habitat loss can only stopped by Humans. Companies develop and chop stuff down all the time, but if people were to stop buying their products companies will have to switch to more eco friendly options of making their products.
