"Helio" = "Sun"; "centric" refers to the center. So a "heliocentric" system has the Sun at the center. This is roughly accurate if you are thinking about the solar system.

But if you consider other things, you'll find that the Sun isn't in the center of anything; the Sun is a fairly small star orbiting the center of the Milky Way galaxy, one of perhaps four hundred BILLION other stars. In the great scheme of things, we're nothing special.

Or, perhaps we are. The center of the galaxy probably contains a hypermassive black hole, and the chances are that there is no "life as we know it" there. We cannot begin to guess the odds that there may be other life forms, other alien civilizations out there among the stars. All we know is that we haven't found any YET.

Perhaps we're it; the universe may harbor no competition. As unlikely as that seems, this may all be ours.

We do not know.
