∙ 16y agoWe needed computers to decrease the number of people needed to be employed by one employer, thus meaning that each employey could get payed more for his or her work. They can also be used to connect loads of offices together (eg. Busnesses in different states or countries, or even just in the same building) to keep the buisness well controlled. Thus meaning there can be no slip ups. It can also be used to access computers around the world (the internet)
