This is mostly the respiratory system though it does include parts of the cardiovascular system.
The respiratory system; more specifically, it happens in the alveoli of the lungs.

Plants take in Carbon Dioxide and expel Oxygen as a by-product of cellular respiration. Animals take in Oxygen and expel Carbon Dioxide as a by-product of cellular respiration.
Oxygen and carbon dioxide easily pass back and forth between the alveoli and the blood through the capillaries.
There is only one gas. It is the CO2 gas.

Mostly nitrogen, oxygen, and carbon dioxide.

Oxygen exchanges occur in the lungs where the circulatory system takes in oxygen and releases carbon dioxide into the lungs. Oxygen exchanges also occur in the capillaries where the circulatory system delivers oxygen to the cells and picks up carbon dioxide from the cells.
gases - specifically carbon dioxide and oxygen
organ system
well, the process where blood exchanges oxygen for carbon dioxide is called gas exchange system also called delivery system. That's what I know, and i hope it's true.
The respiratory system exchanges oxygen and carbon dioxide.
Lungs and Lungs. Blood that contains carbon dioxide means it is lacking oxygen, and the carbon dioxide was put into the blood as a waste product by all the other organs. The blood then reaches the lungs and exchanges the carbon dioxide for oxygen. The now oxygen-rich blood is transported to the heart where it is pumped throughout the body, and the carbon dioxide is exhaled from the lungs.
