In the UK The Beatles first appeared on a regional TV show in Manchester, Granada TV's "People and Places", on 17 October 1962; they sang "Love Me Do" and "Ooh! My Soul". Their first national TV appearance was on "Thank Your Lucky Stars". This was a very significant event in the band's history as it was on during a very severe winter - which meant a larger than usual audience as people couldn't go out. The first show the Beatles appeared on in the United States was the Ed Sullivan Show.
Grenada Television's People and Places, in 1963.
It was actually on the 17th October 1962. Granada TV. People and Places. There had been previous filming from The Cavern in Liverpool, earlier in 1962 for another TV programme "Know The North" but no part of this was shown until after The Beatles became famous,
They appeared and/or performed on television programs around 50 times, mainly from 1963-1965 at the height of Beatlemania. Notable appearances include their first American television appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964 when they first visited the United States and they appeared on there quite a few times.
They preformed on plenty of Talk Shows. But the only one I can think of is The Ed Sullivan Show.

I believe that would be Ringo Starr. He acted in a few movies fter and during The Beatles.
There are often tribute programmes to The Beatles on the television where they show old clips and also on YouTube or other music video sites may have the video requested.
