Yes, our turkey is stuffed, and placed breast-side down in a large roasting pan. Aluminum foil is THIGHTLY fitted over the bird and crimped around the pan's edges so that the moisture steams the turkey.

An easier method for a small family, or a single person, is to buy turkey thighs (they're the best) or breasts, and cook them for about 8 hours in a crock-pot, covered. Oh... heavenly!

Before you leave for work, place the frozen pieces into the pot, put the lid on, cook on LOW. When you come home turn off the pot, make stove-top stuffing, you know the rest... (don't forget the cranberry sauce).
