What time do you believe will be the appocolypse Do You think that it'll even ever happen?

There are many answers to this..

Some say the end of the world is going to be in 2012 (thats very unlikely to me)

Others say with the rate of global warming, the AIDS epidemic, and oil shortages, that the world be become much less populated within a few hundred years. Global warming alone is the biggest issue to me, because once all of those ice caps and bergs melt, where do you think they're going to go? The sea level is going to rise exponentially, as in, by the end of the century - over half of Florida will be under water.

To me, I think that in the world, there is a cycle of life. I mean.. look how long it took for dinosaurs to even become species, then mamals, then homo erectus, now us, and with technology taking over the way it is, in the future there will be no jobs, machines will be able to do what a human does 3x as fast with a fouth of the costs, so I think eventually, people will die out.. I highly doubt there is going to be some huge armageddon.. it's a bunch of bull that THE ESTABLISHMENT wants you to think. I think religion was created as a means to control people without them really thinking about it. I mean I think it's great that so many people have something that they can believe in whole heartedly without proof, and to devote themselves to in hope that when they die they find out that it was all true. But as far as armageddon/appocolyse is concerned -- that's is what the "Writers of the Bible" wanted everyone to be scared of to make them live a quiet and obediant life so they will "go to heaven", it's all bull.. there is no heaven or hell, there're frame of minds.
