Best times for pickin them would usually be right after a good summer shower when the ground is moist, or really early, right at dawn, while all the dew is out.. they like moisture hint hint..But also I wouldn't suggest just going out and picking every mushroom you see on any random pattie.. just because it's on a pattie doesn't mean it is psychedelic, and DEFINITELY doesn't mean its edible. some mushrooms are so toxic they are deadly, so do your research. mycology is a science that is to be respected.. its also good to hook up with a veteran shroomer that knows the area as well. hope this helps!
