It depends on 2 factors:

1) The Winter or Summer Game 2) Geographical Factor

The reason for the first factor is obvious. If you are talking about a summer game, it is likely to be in summer of the locality (usually July or August). However, if the location of the summer game is in the Southern Hemisphere (For example: Sydney, Australia 2000), It would be October or so because their seasons are opposite of northern hemisphere.
