What to do if a friend knows that you like her and they do not react to it?

How about asking: How do you feel about me? Yes, I know, this seems most obvious. But usually we are afraid to ask because we do not want to get rejected. Take a chance. That friend of yours might just be a little bashful. Realize that we all are a little hesitant in baring our emotions.
