Sometimes a little cooked rice mixed with chopped meat helps. Still, it will not be long and the dog will get over it. However, next time you administer aspirin to your dog, use the coated aspirin. This should prevent another upset stomach episode.

Can you give dog aspirin with amoxicillin?

I'd check with your vet first, aspirin can upset the stomach, not all antbiotics will agree with pets, if your vet gave you the amoxicillin did they mention to give aspirin also? Aspirin not recommended by your vet can be fatal to your dog. Never ever give aspirin made for human consumption to your dogs.

Is it OK to give your dog 0.4 ml of aspirin?

Yes, yes it is. How much aspirin a dog can have depends on it's size and weight! If you are doubt about how much aspirin to give your dog, call your vet's office and ask them. Regular strength buffered or baby aspirins should be used, not "safety coated" aspirin. Always give aspirin with food, to help avoid an upset stomach. If the dog starts to vomit, stop giving it aspirin. Aspirin has blood thinning properties, so it can be dangerous in some dogs. For long term pain relief there are safer veterinary-specific alternatives.

How many baby aspiring instead of regular aspirin?

How much you give of either buffered adult aspirin or baby aspirins depends on the weight of your dog: A dog that weighs 8 lbs, would get 1/2 baby aspirin or less. A dog weighing 16 lbs, would get 1 baby aspirin. A dog weighing 32 lbs, would get 1/2 buffered adult aspirin or 2 baby aspirins. A dog weighing 48 lbs, would get 3/4 buffered adult aspirin or 3 baby aspirins. A dog weighing 64 lbs, would get 1 buffered adult aspirin or 4 baby aspirins. A dog weighing 80 lbs, would get 1 1/4 buffered adult aspirin or 5 baby aspirins. A dog weighing 96 lbs, would get 1 1/2 buffered adult aspirin or 6 baby aspirins. Aspirin can cause gastrointestinal upsets and ulcers in dogs, just as in humans. You should pay attention to your dog's eating habits when you have been giving it aspirin to watch for signs of an upset stomach (such as not wanting to eat, or vomiting) and stop giving the aspirin. To minimize stomach problems, always give food with the aspirin.

Can pepto bismol be given to dogs for upset stomach?

Can you give a dog tramadol and aspirin?

No - you should never give a dog aspirin or any other human over-the-counter pain medication (Tylenol, Advil, Aleve, ibuprofin, Motrin, etc.). Dogs are extremely sensitive to the side effects of these drugs and even one pill can be enough to cause a fatal stomach ulcer. Prednisone is a powerful drug that is only given with a veterinarian's prescription. Overdosing can be fatal with this drug as well.

Is green peppers toxic to dogs?

You shouldn't feed it to your dog. Green pepper, at best, will give your dog gas and possibly an upset stomach.

Can you give a 30 pound dog an aspirin for foot pain?

No - dogs should never be given human pain medications (Tylenol, aspirin, Advil, Aleve, Motrin, ibuprofen, etc.). Dogs are very sensitive to the side effects, which can be fatal. If you believe your dog would benefit from pain medication, you will need to make an appointment with your veterinarian for an examination. There are safe pain medications available for dogs, but you need a veterinary prescription to get them.

Can give a dog asaprin?

Although you should always check with your Veterinarian before giving your pet any over-the-counter human medication, in a pinch you can give your dog (NOT cat) enteric coated BABY aspirin for minor aches and pains. Smaller dogs should only be given half a baby aspirin. Enteric coated aspirin is easier on the stomach. Some dogs may have a negative reaction to aspirin but it usually just entails an upset stomach. The easiest way to administer it is in a piece of cheese or meat. Always provide plenty of water. NEVER give Tylenol or acetaminophen to dogs or cats and don't give aspirin to cats. Never self administer for more than a few days. If your pet gets worse, is in extreme distress and/or pain, is having trouble walking or standing or is having trouble breathing do NOT give them anything - get them to the Veterinarian immediately.

Can dogs take Tylenol or ibpuhen?

No, never give Tylenol or ibuprofen to your pet. They are dangerous to the dog. Only use a buffered regular aspirin. It must be buffered too or will cause ulcers or other stomach problems in the dog's stomach. Be sure to check with your Veterinarian as to why you are giving your dog aspirin or want to. The Vet has many pain relievers that are appropriate to what is causing the dog's pain. A good check up, if not already done, is in order with your Veterinarian. You also need to check with your Vet as to what dosage to give of the buffered aspirin.
