just recently i had some guy tell me he was going to have people find me and do me harm, so i started to carry a knife strapped to my belt that you couldn't see never ever thought i was going to have to use it and one day a guy came at me with a bat and i put the knife into his thigh down to the hilt and they haven't bothered me since, DO NOT take it into your own hands like i did regardless of the fact he attacked me with a weapon and i was defending myself it was still illegal on both sides which doesn't make you look any better then him obviously if someone ends up coming after you then you grab the nearest object and beat em senseless but go to the cops before they have a chance to get to you because if something happens then its documented and then in the event they attack you they get in trouble now you, you should always be prepared to defend yourself but the first order of doing so is to alert the police if you can

Take all threats seriously. If you know the name of the person, contact the police. The police will talk to that person and it's not likely that they will talk to you again. If it persists, just keep going back to the police. Eventually, you can file charges.

If you don't know who it is, just make sure you tell the police you are sincerely worried about your safety. Depending on the officer, they will help in any way they can.

The best thing to do is tell your parents. Your parents should deal with situations like this. Threatning is a big problem, and you shouldn't hide this problem from your parents. Your parents will keep you safe until everything is dealed with. Remember, don't hide your feelings, be strong and just tell your parents how you feel.

Answer 1
Well, if someone wants to kill you, you immediately tell the cops. If you know what the person's name is, you tell them the person's name. If you don't know their name but know what they look like, describe their face to the cops.

Answer 2
First, try to figure out if that person actually intends to kill you or is just joking.

Second, if that person is actually intending to kill you, consider your options. In most Western countries, the best option is usually to rely on the police to help protect you. In other parts of the world, it may be better to rely on non-governmental organizations or to rely on family members. Make sure that you vest your faith in the appropriate agency.

Third, do not antagonize the person who wishes to kill you unless there is a very good reason to do so.

It depends on the situation. For example, if you are:

-Being held at gunpoint, or a knife, or any weapon, and theres not really any escape routes.. then you can either choose to attack them, or make a quick dash away.

-Cyber bullying? Just print out/keep the evidence and take it to the police or an adult (depending on your age)

-Verbal threats, but not being held with a weapon, continuing daily, then try and stick with a group of people, or have someone keep an eye on you from a reasonable distance

Don't worry, just TELL SOMEONE (unless theres a knife against your throat right now and you asked this question off your iPod/iPhone... then your f**ked...)

Report it to the police.

Threatening to kill or harm someone is just as illegal as actually carrying out the act.

It would be better if you had some evidence, such as a death threat in writing, an audio recording or video recording. But either way, you should report it to the authorities. They will protect you while the other person is being dealt with.

Contact your local law enforcement agency. They can best advise you on how to handle the problem.

Report to the police. Possible restraining order if they hang around.
