Breaking a mirror is some seriously bad ju-ju. Seven years of bad luck! Who needs that? Luckily, there are a few things you can to to dispel the bad luck before it takes hold. You do not have to do all of the following steps to get rid of the bad luck, just one will do, but you can do as many as it takes to make you feel better.
1) Turn around 3 times in a circle in a counter-clockwise direction as soon as you break
the mirror. This will confuse the bad-luck spirits.
2) Toss a pinch of salt over your left shoulder. Salt is a universal bad-luck dispeller, and according to legend the devil is always standing behind you on your left side so this pinch of salt should hit him right in the eye. Supposedly if he blinks it distracts him from making mischief for you.
3) If the mirror is a small one, you should hold it under running water in your sink or shower. You may also toss it into a stream or river, as any type of running water is said to wash away all kinds of bad luck
4) Bury the pieces of the mirror outside in your yard. It is best to do the burying by moonlight if possible, and as soon after breaking it as you can manage.
5) Take one shard of the broken mirror to a cemetery. Hold the shard against a gravestone so the bad luck will pass on to someone who is already dead and therefore won't be bothered by it.
Tips & Warnings
As an alternative if you are not superstitious: Throw it away and sweap up, then buy a new mirror.

If the image is erect and equal in size and it does not change its size and nature on moving the mirror closer or away from the object, the mirror is plane mirror. If the image is erect and magnified and it becomes inverted on moving the mirror away from the object, the mirror is concave mirror. If the image is erect and diminished and remains erect on moving the mirror away from the object, the mirror is convex mirror.

Reflections occur when light bounces off a surface and changes direction. The angle of incidence (incoming light) is equal to the angle of reflection (outgoing light). This phenomenon is essential in everyday life, from mirrors reflecting images to the way we see objects around us.
