Cooked chiken bones can easily kill a dog. It is an extreamly painful death. An operation to save an animal will cost thousands of dollars. A raw chiken bone should be ok, but a call to vet can't hurt.

∙ 9y agoOnce your dog has eaten a chicken bone, there's not much you can do to get it out. It can help to give him some soft food to eat to help to cushion the bone until he digests it. If your dog seems to be choking or if you see blood in his stool or vomit, call a veterinarian immediately.
