make sure all the puss and blood are out of the wound... clean the wound with antiseptic and put some kind of cut cream on..let it air out during the oozing period then cover it ..keep an eye on it if its a deep wound and the cysts was big you should probably go to the doctor and have it looked at.

If it is large and flat and on the underside of your piggy, then it should be harmless and not affect your piggy. However, a pea-sized lump (most commonly found on the back or the rear) would be a cyst, and yes, it could be harmful. If you don't treat it, it could grow bigger and bigger until it pops and then it could get infected. I suggest, if you have a cyst, take it to the vet immediately! However, a method I've never tried before (so I don't guarantee results) if the cyst is still growing is to flush it out with Demisol or Aserbine fluid. Good luck, but I strongly suggest firstly that you go to a vet if it truly is a cyst!
