There are a wide variety of medications available for sinus infections but many of the conventional treatments can be harmful to take while pregnant. When my wife was pregnant she also got a sinus infection and we came across a great natural product that has no side effects. The product was called SinusWars4 and it really helped her. if you want to get hold of this product you should go to the products website sinuswars.com. If you want to use a conventional drug i would strongly recommend you consult your gp.

It is safe to take acetaminophen (Tylenol) during pregnancy. It is not recommended to take products containing ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) or aspirin. Always read the label, because medications like Excedrin contain acetaminophen as well as aspirin and caffeine. Make sure and read the label even of Tylenol Sinus, because the decongestants that are also in them are not recommended for use during pregnancy.

As for decongestants, the vast majority of over-the-counter and prescription allergy medications are not recommended for use during pregnancy. Chlorpheniramine is considered okay with limited use (it can be found in Chlortrimaton). It should be noted that while Tylenol Allergy contains chlorpheniramine, it also contains phenylephrine, which should be avoided.

What causes pink snot and boogers in the nose?

Most likely it is a sinus infection. You will need to call your doctor and possibly get some anti-biotic. Also while your there they can probably run some tests to ensure that it is in fact a sinus infection and nothing more serious. Your body could probably fight it off on its own but the doctor is the best route to take.

What can pregnant woman take for a headache?

I was told that you should not take ibuprofen while pregnant, but most doctors will let you take a regular dose of Tylenol for pain. It comes in a mostly white package, says Regular Dosage, should be only 325mg capsules. I took it to fight a fever for sinus infection while pregnant. Just don't over do it, best thing is to ask a doctor or pharmacist about this.
