What trees grown well in sandy soil in texas?

[Edit]

Hello,

If you're looking for a shade tree you cant go wrong with an oak. The Pin Oak (Quercus palustris), Bur Oak (Quercus macrocarpa), and the White Oak (Quercus alba) are just a few examples.

Or if you would like evergreens which make very good wind breaks. The Austrian Pine (Pinus nigra), Eastern White Pine (Pinus strobus), and the Red Pine (Pinus resinosa) are a few that would work well.
