Composition of Spelter is - Copper- 90%, Zinc- 10%
Brass and bronze brazing alloys typically melt at temperatures from 1500 degrees F to 2000 degrees F. Silver brazing alloys melt at temperatures as low as 1145 degrees F. Nickel silver brazing alloys melt at temperatures around 1200 degrees F, but can be worked up to 1750 degrees F.
You may have to shop around to find all thicknesses that are manufactured, but it can be as thin as 1/8", ranging up to two inches thick.
Set your strings up at one corner. Use the corner as a start point. From that corner measure out 3 feet and make a mark on the line. Next, on the other line measure out 4 feet and make a mark. Hold the end of your tape measure at one of the marks. Now have some one move the far end of the other string in and out until you line up the mark at 5 feet from the other mark. When you have a diagonal line of 5 feet from mark to mark, your corner will be square. You can now just measure from the lines that are now square to set the other lines.
bar cranking is the process of bending up the bottom steel bars in upward direction. it is mainly to prevent upward bending moment near the joint. also useful for attaching stirrup bar efectivly. cranking is also used in two way slabs
