The cap takes a T50, I am looking for the bolt size myself. My mechanic says it is probably metric, I would really like to know before I cut the head off to yank the old tensioner. If you know, please let me know.
An additional problem with this job is that the clearance is very tight, I tried to use a l-type torx wrench and a piece of pipe. The head of the bolt unfortunately was already stripped out so I am declaring war on the bolt. This agression will not stand.
thanks

The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show - 1950 Holding Out 1-11 was released on: USA: 15 February 1951
The space ranger Buzz Lightyear is voiced by Tim Allen.
You really should not need to as there should be a tensioner at the back of the blade under the cover. Some chainsaw are tool free (thumb tap) others may require Allen keys etc to release and tighten the tensioner but don't leave it to tight there should be a certain amount of slack.
I adjusted mine by loosening the Allen nut holding the head to the shaft and sliding it up, and then tightening the Allen nut again. I also adjusted the handle to a height that tends to make me lift the head a little when I walk behind the trimmer. Hope this helps....
Woody Allen is a stage name. His birth name is Allen Stewart Konigsberg.
pulley tensioner replacement%ford ranger xlt 3.2l 2wd instructions. do use an ALLEN wrench to loosen the spring or is it a special tool
Don't know what year you have but try this:The tensioner is located above the alternator. If you have an 8mm Allen wrench, use it to turn the tensioner arm clockwise with one hand, and remove the drive belt with the other. If you don't have the Allen wrench, use any 15mm wrench instead at the tensioner pulley nut to achieve the same.
3/8" Allen wrench.
An allen wrench is sometimes referred to as a hex wrench or hex key.
7mm Allen wrench
Use a vice and when fully compressed, insert a tiny(very tiny) Allen wrench into the very tiny hole
Allen Screws.
There is no Allen wrench, I believe it is 14 mm open wrench.
An Allen wrench is a hex head wrench - a screwdriver with a handle and hexagonal head at right angles to each other.
No they are NOT the same.
The rear of the console has two bolts on either side. You will need an Allen wrench. Unbolt them and remove the console.
James Van Allen didn't invent the Allen Wrench it was William G. Allen in 1909-1910 of the Allen Manufacturing Company of Hartford, Connecticut.
