There are nine blades that can be used for a circular saw. Ripping, crosscutting, combination, plywood, hollow ground, dado, thin kerf, abrasive, and diamond are all blades that can be used to cut wood, glass, steel, and concrete.
There really isn't a suitable saw blade for cutting siding. I often do it, and in my opinion the best way is fitting a thin cutting disc in an angle grinder. I use a 5" composite steel cutting disc about a millimetre thick. Makes a lovely clean cut.

There would not be much reason to rent the average steel circular saw blade, as they can be purchased for as little as $4. Diamond blades are often rented however.
Any industry-retail store should have replacement blades, but it depends on what kind of saw you has. Since certain blades are more popular and known verse other types of blades.

I think a good store that sells tree pruner saw blades are probably either Lowe's or Home Depot. They usually have the best selection available out of everybody.
A circular saw ( or generically 'Skil-saw' ) is used for all kinds of 'casual' wood cutting on loose wood or walls, floors or ceilings. Every worker on a site has a t least one, some up to 3, with different blades and abilities. My two favorite tools are a DeWalt 8 and 1/4 right hand saw and a Skil 5 " left hand saw.
The more teeth, the finer the cut. Less teeth, faster, more aggressive rougher cut
Worm drive circular saws are tough saws. They are powerful and have a long shelf life. A regular circular saw is a good saw, but not quite as durable as worm drive.
