Alexander the Great. He built many cities, several of them named after himself, and one named after his horse Bucephalus.
Bucephalos was the lead horse of Alexander the Great. He was the ruler of probably one of the biggest Ancient Kingdoms that had parts in all of the continents except for the then not discovered America. Alexander got him when a famous horse dealer offered him to Philip II (Alexander's father) but as the stallion couldn't be ridden, Philip didn't answer. But Alexander, turned around the horse so he won't be able to see his own shadow, he took of his fluttering coat and easily tamed the wild beast. After that day, Bucephalos was his loyal horse. It is said that Bucephalos died at the age of 30, which is a pretty good for horses. But never the less his old age he died in a battle and was buried in a near-by city that it wore his name.
