Cars For A Low Income
If your income is low, and assuming that you have a small family, then a car with the engine capcity of 1398cc and less may be ideal. The smaller engines are also ideal for the new young drivers as the small engine allows for cheaper insurance quotes (depends on who qoutes) and the semi annual or annual tax costs will be at there cheapest.
Another factor of a smaller engine is the economy. I pesonally own a 1398 cc car and I am able to get 55 mpg (miles per gallon) where as a 2000cc sports car is only likely to get around 28-32 mpg.
An example of the makes and models I would recommend are as follows:
Vauxhall Corsa C Class
Ford Ka
Ford Fiesta Mk 5,6 or 7
Vauxhall Astra
Ford Escort Mark 5,6 or 7
Rover 200 series
These are only a few of the cars I feel would be ideal to someone on a low income. But then its completely down to your exact situation. However despite your personal circumstances there will always be a car available to suit your every need. Happy hunting and Good Luck
