However, all dog breeds have traits and need to be trained to know what is expected of them. A dog is a pack animal and takes his cues from the leader of the pack. if you can get the show - "the Dog Whisperer" he will explain this. Having said this, some Dog Breeds are known to be more aggressive than others. Any dog can become aggressive if not trained or treated properly. Dog obedience is advisable for any and every dog owner.
Always research a dog - it's needs, cost, health care etc. before you get one. Don't make it an impulsive buy and ensure that everyone in the house wants one. Each breed is know for different things including size, shedding of hair and also grooming.
