Hm....... GRAVITATIONAL
Since kinetic energy is dependent on mass (KE = 0.5 * mv^2), the book with the larger mass will have more kinetic energy. This book would also have the larger gravitational potential energy.
Potetial energy is the energy an object has because of its position or location, or its energy of position.
It is the same - work done is weight x height and potential energy change is the same at the new height
It has gravitational potential energy, as well as chemical energy.
Before it falls it has gravitational potential energy. While it falls, the potential energy gets converted to kinetic energy. Part of this gets dissipated by friction - mainly converted to heat. Once it hits the ground, all the energy will be converted to heat.
kinetic
A bookshelf has gravitational potential energy.
When a book is lowered from a bookshelf to a lower bookshelf its position, potential energy, and altitude all change. It is also likely to be out of catalog order, or placed back into catalog order, so its ability to be found and retrieved also changes.

put the book higher up on the shelf
When a book is falling from a bookshelf, it is in a state of kinetic energy because it is in motion. Potential energy arises when the book is stationary on the shelf due to its height above the ground.
Potential Energy If it falls, it will then be subject of gravity, so it has the potential of becoming energetic. -------------------- The bookshelf could also catch fire and the book would release energy as heat.
Place it on a higher shelf. If it has to stay on the same shelf, then its potential energy can only be increased by adding some pages to it.
Book cover becomes "book covers" then you add an apostrophe to make book covers'. Hope I helped! XD
bookcase bookshelf
There is no direct relationship because the potential energy of the book on the shelf is defined relative to an arbitrary base line at which the potential energy would be zero. The work done in raising the book is the increase in the potential energy of book from however much PE it had in its previous location - for example, on a lower shelf.
The bookshelf. ;)
