== If you go by strict definitions, then passive euthanasia is legal in Canada. Passive euthanasia is when one stops providing treatment, even if it means death. Sometimes, it is better to let nature take its course, once giving treatment goes from retaining precious life to prolonging a suffering death. Most, if not all, countries realize this and allow patients to refuse medical treatment. In the general sense, active & non-active euthanasia (aka euthanasia and assisted suicide) are not yet legal in Canada. == Technically it is not. However living wills and a few Canadian charter rights do always contradict the matter.
