It uses a multi viscosity non detergent hydraulic oil. It is ISO 68 lubricant. I would use nothing but Cat oil which you can easily buy.

30 Weight Non-detergent Oil
A Karcher pressure washer pump requires 15W40 non-detergent oil. It takes 4 ounces and doesn't need to be changed because the oil will last the for the lifetime of the pump.
Some website says 30w non-detergent?
See link; the OEM part # is a 5.3 OZ. bottle http://www0.shopping.com/xPF-Briggs-Briggs-Stratton-Synthetic-Pressure-Washer-Pump-Oil-5-3-oz-190585GS
The cost of a washer pump will vary depending on what type of machine the pump is going on. A washer pump can cost between a hundred and three hundred dollars.
Depends on the manufacture and the size of the pump. These pumps use a special oil so contact the manufacture for the exact amount and type oil.
The troy bilt 2200 Pressure washer uses SAE 30 oil for the Motor, and the pump uses Power washer Pump oil you can buy at Lowes in the section selling parts for your power washer. (special oil treated to keep the seals and the pump running ) The pump oil drain is under the unit ,next to the hose connections for the pump .Use a 5/16 allen wrench to remove the black plug drain out old oil and replace with new oil put in the same amount that was taken out. Look under the power washer and you will see a 3/8 plug for the motor oil,I used a 3/8 ratchet wrench long extension to remove this plug, drain out old oil replace plug. Fill to the the full level on the dip stick.
For the engine, not the pump, 10W-30 is what Briggs puts in them, but SAE 30 is acceptable if your are not running the pressure washer in cold temperatures. I highly recommend you use synthetic oil in any air cooled engine.
Depends on the manufacture of the pump which you do not list. There is no manufacturer marked on the pump. It's one of those pumps used in a high pressure water sprayer. Ie: Karcher 1750 psi. type. Can I remove any water from inside it & change it over to pump hydraulic oil through a reservior to work a small hydraulic ram? Then it is a Karcher. No, you cannot use it to pump hydraulic oil in a ram.
SAE 10w30 Full Synthetic oil any major brand is what to use in the engine. The water pump uses DP70 pump oil or 30w non-detergent oil.
