What type of person would kill for money? |
[Edit] |
Types Of People Who Would Kill For Money:
- Depends there are two types : profit killer and some loser who kills for little money.
- Mercenaries are essentially soldiers-for-hire. They have been employed by governments and private entities throughout recorded history to kill people. Regular soldiers don't really kill for money, they kill only when necessary (i.e. for defense and for their country's ideals and interests), but they do get paid for what they do, which is to kill people when carrying weapons and threatening to kill is not enough to dissuade others with conflicting interests. Make no mistake, soldiers carry guns and operate mobile weapons like tanks and fighter jets for a reason: they are the tools of their trade. A soldier is merely a mercenary who works as a permanent employee of a particular government rather than on a contractor basis.
- One would be surprised who would kill for a great deal of money. Husbands have killed wives and vice versa. Children have been killed for the sake of getting the money they stand to inherit to even spending the rest of their life with a boyfriend they are cheating on behind their husband's back. Humans can have a dark side to them so don't bet on just pro killers/losers or mercenaries to do this job. At least they know what they are! As the quote goes: "Money is the root of all evil." Let us not forget that depending on why a person wants to kill all humans have that instinct. Example: If you are defending your life or that of your family. This is simply a survival instinct, but thankfully the majority of people know that killing another human being for monetary value is wrong no matter what the reason.
- Anyone who values money over human life, which is most people. There may be different values set at different levels at different times. One moment in time Bob might be persuaded to kill his wife for $5 million, his boss for $3 million and a homeless stranger for $10K. Some other moment (say when he finds his boss in bed with his wife) he might do it for free, and feeling rather aggressive, he might throw in the bum for $5K. There are more considerations such as how likely they feel they are to get away with the murder(Soldier vs citizen: (Soldier will not be punished as long as soldier's side wins and soldier survives, citizen will most likely be punished with fines, imprisonment and/or death), the level of emotional attachment to the particular individual, murderer's level of emotional discipline, etc. Most people have "what it takes" to kill another for money when it comes to ethics (even though they deny it to themselves) but lack the resources and know how, as well as being too afraid of the consequences (going to prison and getting sodomized) to carry out the deed. That, and you won't find a lot of people offering large sums of money for murder. Most "contracts" go for between $2K-$8K which is less than your average person wants for committing murder (No stats here, but I would imagine it to be more around the $250K-$400K range). Most people deceive themselves into believing fear of incarceration has little to do with their morals because it makes them feel better about themselves.
