There once was a man from Peru, He dreamed he was eating his shoe, He awoke with a fright, In the middle of the night, And found that his dream had come true. There once was a man named Bob, He loved to eat corn on the cob, But he ate it so loud, He attracted a crowed, Now everyone calls him a slob. I wrote this next one my self (go easy on me I'm only 13) There once was a girl named Jean, She always wanted to work on a trend But then one day, They just had to say, You can't work here because you're too mean for the men
Juliet and Friar Laurence planned to get Romeo and Juliet together, but Capulet wanted to marry Paris to Juliet on Thursday. The Friar gave her a potion that would make her seem dead for 42 hours, which she was to take Wednesday night. Friar Lawrence sent a message to Romeo for him to come and get Juliet when she awoke on Friday. But Capulet changed the wedding to Wednesday which meant that Juliet would have to take the potion late on Tuesday night which she did. That meant she awoke Thursday evening. Even if Romeo had received the message to come on Friday it would have been too late.
There is a particular type of five line poem known formally as a Cinquain. Ideally, in this type of poem, line 1 has one word (a noun). line 2 has two words (adjectives which describe the noun in line 1). line 3 has three words (words which describe action related to the line 1 word). line 4 has four words (a phrase which describes a feeling about the line 1 word), and line 5 has one word which is another word for the line 1 noun (a synonym).
[SOMEWHAT SPOILER] Friar Lawrence's plan was to give Juliet a vial to drink. It would put her in a deep sleep and she'd appear as dead, so her family would put her in the Capulet Family Tomb. The Friar was going to send Romeo a letter explaining this plan so that he may go to the tomb later at night so when she awoke from her sleep they could walk away and live life together again, but sadly the letter did not send and his plan backfired. In the end they both die a tragic death.
Romeo drinks a poison from friar Lawrence when he saw/ thought his Juliet was dead. Romeo had just drank the poison and died when Juliet woke up from the potion that made her seem dead. Juliet could not stand to be alive without Romeo so tried to drink the poison too, but there was none left so she stabbed herself with Romeo's dagger
