The main religion is Christianity (Roman-Catholics are the majority). There is also a small percentage of Protestants. They attend church regularly. But there is also another small percentage if Jews and Muslims.

Additional Info:According to The Statesman's Yearbook 2006 (c. 2005) pg. 788,

Roman Catholicism is the prevailing religion. According to the Honduran Census of 2001, 5, 740,00 followers are Catholic. The Honduran Constitution guarantees freedom of religion, so there are other faiths thriving as well. One such faith is Evangelical Protestantism. The 2001 census states that 690,000 inhabitants follow this faith.

Honduras, like all countries of Latin America, is a mostly Christian nation - the vast majority of its inhabitants claiming to be Roman Catholic. However, a significant portion of them are what are called "nominal" Christians, indicating that their commitment to their faith doesn't extend much past the title of being "Catholic". There are, of course, others who are very active within the Roman Catholic system, as well as a growing number of influential protestant groups including those of the pentecostal flavor. Nominalism, within protestantism is less of a factor than within Catholicism. In addition, there are vestiges of pre-Columbian religions (Maya, Olmec, etc.). In some places these "folk" religions have been fused with Christian concepts in what is refered to as "Syncretism".
