What types of animals live on the Casey base in Antarctica?

[Edit]

Wildlife at Casey

Humans live on the station.

Adelie penguins nest on Shirley Island, right next door, and other islands within the Windmill Islands. There is a smal Emperor Penguin colony to the north.

Elephant, Weddel and Crabeater seals either haul out at the station or lounge on the sea ice near by. The occasional Leopard Seal visits.

There are a couple of Snow Petrel colonies in the vicinity.
