The best type of breed for milking is a dairy goat. The best kind for milking though is the Nigerian dwarf. They are easy to handle and gentle and sweet.
A breed of goat that has a bigger bag is the saanen.
I think that the best type of milk goat is the LaMancha Dairy Goat. They have a good size milk sack and most have nice sized teats. If you selectively breed them, they will produce up to 1.5 gallons a day. I raise and show them all over the country. The LaMancha is a very docile goat when treated properly. They tend not to fight with other goats too. If it is any conciliation, the LaMancha goats have almost no ears. they hear just as well as humans, but there ears are like little nubs. They either have elf ears or gopher ears. To learn more, you can register with the ADGA ( American Dairy Goat Association), or go to there website and type in the LaMancha Dairy Goat.

There are six types of dairy goats that are recognized by the American Dairy Goat Association. They are Nubians, LaManchas, Alpines, Oberhaslis, Togenburgs, and Nigerian Dwarf.
Goats milk, and particularly Nubian goats milk is very healthy for you. Many claim the higher fat content makes it bad for you though and it has given goats milk a bad name. It is true that the fat content is higher but our bodies have a much easier time breaking down the fat than that of the highly processed and modified commercially available cows milk. In fact I would venture to say that un-pasteurized goats milk is some of the healthiest sources of nourishment available today. Its loaded with powerful probiotics and enzymes that help your digestive track in many ways similar to pro biotic yogurt. It's not recommended that you switch to pasteurized milk 100% right off the bat though. If you've not been raised on it like me and many others your system may have a hard time coping with all the new bacteria. While that bacteria can be good for you if your body perceives it as a threat because you've followed a completely sterile diet you will likely get sick from it for a while. It could be simple indigestion or full blown food poisoning like symptoms. The latter being quite rare.
Well the saanen goat produces the most milk but it doesn't taste as good as the Nigerian dwarf goat. That's why i sold them to get the Nigerian dwarfs.
Actually, it all tastes the same. The subtle difference is the butterfat content. Nubians have the highest, and Saanens have the lowest. If you like the taste of cream, you'll prefer Nubian.
There are two types of goats, that I know of, dairy and meat. Dairy goats are the ones you milk. Meat goats are sold at fairs for food.
milk it's healthier too Goat milk is milk produced by a dairy goat
The Greeks used goats to either milk them if dairy, or eat them if non- dairy. And for sexual "services". The Greeks love them some goat.
Dairy things are the foods that come from milk (cows or goats or anything like that). Like cheese and yogurt and stuff like that...
They are all together called "Milch Animals".Or else say them Dairy animals Eg. dairy cows, dairy goats
Yup. They sure do. My friend had a goat dairy, and she milked 300/day.
Cheese is made from milk curds. It could be cows milk, goats milk, sheeps milk, or water buffalo milk (in the case of mozzarella.
Goats are a third to a quarter of the size of cows, for one. And, they only have two teats on their udders, unlike cows which have four. Goats' milk contains different enzymes and lacks lactose than cows milk does, and is also rich in buttermilk fat.
NO Cheese is a product made from milk. Cows milk and goats milk are common for making cheese. It is NOT a fruit, nor is fruit a major constituent in it.
If you are talking about dairy animals like goats and cattle, the farmers (more commonly called dairy producers) milk these animals out and sell the milk to retailers. Some, like dairy goat producers, make them into soaps, butter, and cheese then sell them in the farmer's market.
Dairy milk
In the US, most dairy farms have cows for milking; a few also have goats. Goats milk can be helpful for people who can't tolerate milk from cows. A dairy farm may also have herding dogs to help moving groups of cows from one location on the farm to another. Some dairy farms keep cats to help keep the barns free of rodents. A dairy farm can also have many other types of animals not related to milk production. One of the more common types is keeping chickens for eggs to sell with the milk products.
