If you are asking about a tractor-trailer truck, then I would suggest a Freightliner. I have driven most makes of trucks, Peterbilt, Keniworth, Volvo, White, Ford, and Freightliners. The newer trucks on the road today are mostly Freightliners. These truck's parts are easier to access. But for durability, Pete's and KW's are hard to beat.
But if you are asking about pickup trucks with diesel engines, I have never driven one, but my ex has a Dodge diesel that he seems to favor fairly well.
