Best Answer

Carrots do well.

ANSWER:Any. Lettuce, turnips, potatoes, strawberries, peppers, corn, squash, zuchini, collard greens and tomatos are grown commercially in sandy soils. The soil does not effect the growth of the plant. It just means that is is more porous and will require more water and fertilizer than plants that are grown in loam, topsoil or potting soil mixtures.
