Alexander the great was the son of Philip II of Macedon. He was born in Pella of today's Greek prefecture of Macedonia. Carnabus established the ancient Macedonian kingdom and is the first known Macedonian king (808-778 BC). When Alexander the great was born , Pella was and had always been part of the Kingdom of Macedon . It was part of Macedonia & The Provinces of Macedon & Macedonia until it's annexation in 1912 and 1913 in which all of the Macedonian inhabitants where massacred by the Greek army , as they did to the Thracians in 1920 . The greeks are the only race to not only justify but glorify a racially motivated massacre .

Alexander the Great identified culturally and ethnically as Greek whose ancestors migrated from Argos to the northern Greek peninsula hence the name of their royal house, the Argeads.

Your ancestors came to Macedonia and the rest of Hellas and did us great harm, though we had done them no prior injury. I have been appointed leader of the Greeks, and wanting to punish the Persians I have come to Asia, which I took from you...
